The Hoppy Monk - El Paso: A Must-Visit Gastropub and Beer Bar

First time here and I truly enjoyed it! Staff is very attentive and welcoming. I was helped immediately, food and drinks were out sooner than expected. To top it off, everything was delicious and fresh! The 2x different Marble beers I had were tasty, too! They have plenty of seating options inside and out. 10/10

I’ve visited here several times, and the menu always has selections that pair well with a good beer. The atmosphere when I’ve been here was relaxing and inviting as well.

Beer selection was extensive and the burger was absolutely incredible! Looking forward to going back to this place again soon. Due to covid, it's been over a year since my last visit but finally got back here again. All I can say is that this place never missed a beat! The food is still hands down fantastic and the wings are off the chart delicious. Love the atmosphere, especially outside on the patio and the music soundtrack was perfectly progressive and chill throughout the night. The staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly, couldn't have asked for more. Felt like VIP even though it was a very busy night. If you're in town, this is THE place to visit!

Best burger EVER! I had the Blue Fox Burger, and it was fantastic. So many beers on tap that it'll take several visits to try them all. The service was super good. Sydney was our server, and she made us all feel right at home. We'll absolutely be back!

Let’s start with positive.. ‘food ‘ was amazing. Very happy with the fish and chips .. it was something I wasn’t expecting having eating this same dish in Arizona .. next plate was hamburger with roasted green chili which was by far the best I ever had .. great dish !! I normally won’t order the same dish but wow .. I want this dish again!! …custom service.. was amazing .. loved it .. .. atmosphere was as good .. the only thing was the seats are wood and after sitting it can be uncomfortable .. no cushion seats .. also it was really cold but other then that I would definitely be back .. I like this place ..

The burgers were graet, the flavor was delicious i really enjoy it, the fries were absolutely delicious I couldn't stop eating them, really, good i recommend de place 10/10

Stopped in because I saw rave reviews about the burgers, but I was way more into the sweet potato fries. The Blue Fox burger is good though. It's got sweetness from the apple and a bit of tang from the blue cheese, but man, those sweet potato fries were something else. They're crispy and tossed in seasoning, and I'm guessing that was walnut aioli with it. It's a lot of flavors but it's really addicting.

If you ar looking for some genuine beer selections and crafty cocktails AND great eats this could be a stop for you and even you and family. I had their gochu chicken sandwich and pomme fries really good! Like super flavorful delicious. Our waitress was wonderful she made some wonderful suggestions and was very knowledgeable not only about all 64 pours but the menu as well. I highly recommend the fat Elvis beer omg like I could sip that all day. Their hamburgers are well made. Cocktails wow my husband had some old fashions they smoked mezcal is not only fun but delicious.
